RoC Hydra+ Rich 24hr Comfort Nourishing Cream is specifically formulated to look after dry skin and combines the moisturising ingredient Hydrovance with essential vitamins and nutrients to: ‘attract and lock water, rebuild reserves of nourishing ingredients to continuously moisturise skin during the day, and strengthen the skin barrier to prevent water loss’.
It’s much thicker than creams I’ve tried in the past, including the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rich Fortifying & Soothing 24hr Hydrating Cream that I reviewed in August, but this is a good thing as it means a little goes a very long way.
There’s no SPF in this product which means I can use it both in the morning and at night, I just make sure to use a separate sun cream on top of it for daytime, and I’m a huge fan of products that serve a dual purpose lately.
RoC have a great reputation for being kind to sensitive skin so there was never any need to worry on that front and as for the moisturising claims, well I’d have to agree. After using this for a week my skin not only felt lovely and soft but actually looked noticeably plumper, which I’m putting down to it being more hydrated.
If you’re searching for something to keep your skin in check throughout the day then I’d definitely recommend giving RoC Hydra+ Rich 24hr Comfort Nourishing Cream a whirl and at €17.95 for a 50ml jar it’s not too expensive either. RoC Hydra+ is also available in a light texture that’s suitable for normal to combination skin types.
