Lush Angels on Bare Skin Review

Lush Angels on Bare Skin Fresh Cleanser (100g). Lush Angels on Bare Skin Fresh Cleanser (250g). No press samples included.

Lush’s Angels on Bare Skin has been a favourite cleanser of mine for years. I even reviewed it on a previous incarnation of this blog, since then I have changed the way I use Angels on Bare Skin and the original photographs were a mess so I thought it time to write a new post.

Sometimes you come across a skincare product that you use so often you (a) assume everyone else is using it too and (b) don’t talk about it as often as you should. Lush’s Ultrabland is that product. I’ve been using it for years.

Kinvara Skincare Absolute Cleansing Oil (100ml), €19.95. Kinvara Skincare 24hr Rosehip Face Serum (30ml), €29.95. No press samples included.

I’ve been a fan of Kinvara Skincare products for years. I first tried them back in 2011 and have featured them on previous incarnations of this blog, but they have been through some changes since then and my original photos were pretty awful so I thought it time to give them a proper review.

Narciso Rodriguez for her EDT

Narciso Rodriguez for her EDT (7.5ml roll-on), €19.50. Narciso Rodriguez for her EDT (30 ml), €47. Narciso Rodriguez for her EDT (50 ml), €69. Narciso Rodriguez for her EDT (100 ml), €100. No press samples included.

I’ve had my eye on Narciso Rodriguez for her EDT for ages, but couldn’t justify the price for a full size bottle so when I spotted this roll-on in Sephora while in Barcelona recently I knew I had to have it.

I really wish roll-on perfumes were widely available in Ireland because they’re a great way to try perfumes without completely breaking the bank.

Review: Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser

Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser (118ml), €28. Personal gift, but no press samples included.

Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser

I think my love of all things skincare comes from growing up with skin so dry I literally left a trail of flaked off skin cells behind me. Throw in sensitive skin that reacts to the strangest things and you’ve an explanation for my love of reading up on skincare ingredients.

My aim has always been to find products that do what they’re supposed to while not leaving my skin in a worse state then when I started. I have learned which brands work for me and which don’t. As a result my skincare stash is littered with products from Kinvara Skincare, La Roche-Posay, LUSH, Skin Essentials by Mariga, and Vichy. They work, so I tend to stick to them.
